Greetings to all at Living Water Fellowship!
I will take a cue from the Apostle Paul. As he opened many of the epistles, he wrote “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ”. I trust this letter finds you well and blessed in Him.
Plan for Reopening Church
The Elders and I wanted to communicate with you as to how we have sought the Lord concerning moving forward towards the reopening of the church. As you know we are in the midst of a call to prayer, meeting in small groups each evening until Pentecost Sunday, May 31.
Drive-In Prayer Time
We have felt there is great significance to the call ending on that day. We believe that the Lord is calling for us to end this season of prayer by having a drive-in prayer time during our service that day.
While the service is being recorded in the church – of which we encourage you to be tuning into as you have been doing either on Facebook live or through the link on the website – we will have prayer teams that will come to your vehicle as you park in the lot at LWF.
The teams will consist of an elder and a member of the prophetic prayer team. They will do their best to keep the social distancing protocol. So as you park, please leave some space between vehicles to allow for this.
Get Our Feet Wet
I (Pastor Lee) felt that we were to get “our feet wet”, referring to the priests stepping into the waters of the Jordan and the waters being held back so they could cross (I encourage you to read Joshua 3).
I also sensed the Lord saying to ”Watch what I do. Do not watch what the government or the world is doing, watch what I do.”
So it is with this in mind, we feel to call for a drive up prayer time during our service time on May 31st. We are trusting we will have more information at that time as to how we will proceed from that time forward.
June Meeting Schedule
The first week in June we will resume our Tuesday and Thursday evening life groups and Bible studies. We will continue to make changes and transition towards reopening as we receive direction from the Lord.
If you have further questions, please feel free to contact myself, Brian, or Clay and we will do our best to answer any questions you may have.
As always, any participation in these activities will be as you feel comfortable to do so, and as the Lord would lead you. We are not trying to pressure anyone into participating in any activity that you do not feel is appropriate for you.
Please seek the Lord as to your participation. If you feel to not participate, we ask that you do still join with us in Spirit as you watch from home.
We ask that you would continue to pray for us as leadership that we would hear the word of the Lord for Living Water Fellowship and receive His wisdom and guidance.May God bless and keep you in His great grace and mercy!
